The Good Decisions We Made:

  • Bringing extra snacks saved us $50+ on overpriced café car food
  • Our portable charger was a LIFESAVER when outlets were full
  • Compression socks made the long journey so much more comfortable

What We Forgot (Don’t Make Our Mistakes!):

  • Wet wipes (had to buy some at a station stop)
  • A small pillow case (would have made the train pillow more comfortable)
  • More layers (the train was freezing at 3 AM!)

Disney-Specific Tips

Taking the train to Disney is different from flying because:

  • You arrive refreshed and ready to go (if you pack right!)
  • You can bring more stuff (no airline baggage restrictions)
  • You might want to change clothes before hitting the parks
